A couple’s holiday together contributes enormously to the happiness of a couple. Everyone loves it! It’s a way to get together and have a great time. These trips break the daily routine and bring more spice to the lives of the two lovebirds. Spending time with your other half in a setting you are discovering can renew your intimacy as a couple and enhance your relationship. The Baie des Veys is THE destination to choose to enjoy the maximum benefits of a romantic getaway. We tell you why.
THE BAY OF VEYS, WILD AND SCENIC
Direction Le Cotentin
The Bay of Veys is the marine outlet of the vast marshes of the Cotentin and Bessin regions and is located on the west coast of Normandy. The waters of four rivers (the Aure, the Vire, the Taute and the Douve) can be found there. This magnificent cocktail of salt and fresh water makes for an amazing sight, both in terms of fauna and flora. You will see plants and animals that you will not see elsewhere. Enjoy this moment of discovery with your partner!
Escape the crowds, find yourself on large stretches of beach
If you flee the crowd, you will find your happiness in the bay of Veys and its surroundings. Some of our beaches are not very busy, which gives them a small intimate, preserved side. A landscape of dunes and sand as far as the eye can see, this is what awaits you at the Baie des Veys, in the English Channel. Not far from there, the beach of Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue (elected Favorite Village of the French in 2019) will seduce you, with its unobstructed view on the Vauban Towers. Opposite, you can go by boat to Tatihou Island! We talk about it on our page dedicated to the ideas of outings.

GR 223 One of the most diverse hiking trails
By hiking, we improve our cardio fitness by using and strengthening the stabilizing muscles of the legs and trunk to improve balance that we wouldn’t otherwise use.
Walking uphill is excellent for developing the quadriceps, gluteal muscles and calves, which we don’t get when we walk on flat ground, while walking downhill works the ankles, hips and core.
